Make Your Joshua Tree Weekend Away A little More Relaxed With A Massage

With all the activity that accompanies a visit to Joshua Tree National Park it’s important to balance that with some R&R which for some can mean a massage. As Joshua Tree is a mecca for artists, including those focused on healing, massage therapists are readily available at spas or to come to your Joshua Tree short term rental to help you find rest, relaxation and work out any knots and aches resulting from bouldering, scrambling within Joshua Tree National Park. Here are our top 3 options for those wanting to add a massage to their Joshua Tree National Park itnerary.

1. Naturalives Day Spa

Based in Joshua Tree, Naturalives Day Spa is an appointment only holistic and Ayurvedic day spa offers a variety of services from waxing to facials to massages. The massages offered at Naturalives Day Spa range from 30 to 90 minutes in length. Naturalives’ massages include deep tissue, combo, swedish, and prenatal. It also has options that allow for multiple add ons to a massage, like a facial, sound bath, hand or foot scrub among others.

2. Methods + Rituals Spa & Wellness

Methods + Rituals Spa & Wellness was established in 2021 by two female aestheticians (we love a good female business) and they offer both spa and in-home services. Like Naturalives Day Spa, Methods + Rituals Spa & Wellness features a variety of offerings. What sets them apart is their massage offering which is its Ayurvedic Gandharva (gaan-darva) Body Healing. Like a massage this practice is focused on healing touch however it incorporates sound therapy and warm dosha-specific essential oils to strengthen energy flow throughout the body. According to Methods + Rituals Spa & Wellness this helps to, “awaken the body’s inner healing system, manipulates subtle energy or prana, relieves tension, and boosts circulation.”
