Here’s How To Have S’More Fun Around The Campfire This Weekend

WKNDR x Starside Campfire

There's something magical about sitting around a crackling fire with friends and family, roasting marshmallows and making s'mores beneath a dark star-filled sky.

It's a time-honored tradition during which you can create lasting memories. Here are three different s'mores recipes to try while you are visiting a WKNDR Joshua Tree getaway (BOOK NOW) or at home on a weekend:

Classic S'mores

You can't go wrong with the classic s'mores recipe. Here's what you'll need:

  • Graham crackers

  • Marshmallows

  • Milk chocolate bars

To make the s'mores, start by roasting a marshmallow over the fire until it's golden brown and gooey. Place the marshmallow on a graham cracker and top with a piece of chocolate. Sandwich the s'more together with another graham cracker and enjoy!

Peanut Butter Cup S'mores

If you're a fan of peanut butter cups, you'll love this s'mores recipe. Here's what you'll need:

  • Graham crackers

  • Marshmallows

  • Peanut butter cups

To make the s'mores, start by roasting a marshmallow over the fire. While the marshmallow is roasting, break a peanut butter cup in half. Place one half of the peanut butter cup on a graham cracker. Once the marshmallow is ready, place it on top of the peanut butter cup and sandwich it between another graham cracker with the remaining half of the peanut butter cup. Enjoy the gooey goodness!

Nutella S'mores

If you're a fan of Nutella, you'll love this s'mores recipe. Here's what you'll need:

  • Graham crackers

  • Marshmallows

  • Nutella

To make the s'mores, start by roasting a marshmallow over the fire. While the marshmallow is roasting, spread Nutella on a graham cracker. Once the marshmallow is ready, place it on top of the Nutella and sandwich it between another graham cracker with more Nutella. The Nutella adds a delicious twist to the classic s'mores recipe.

Making s'mores around the fire is a fun and delicious activity that is enjoyed by all. Whether you stick to the classic recipe or try out one of these variations, there's no wrong way to make a s'more. So gather your friends and family, start up a fire, and get ready to make some unforgettable memories (and tasty treats!) while away or at home.
