Cheers! Where To Find Local Joshua Tree Beverages To Stock Your Vacation Rental Refrigerator

After a long day of hiking, scrambling, bouldering or just being in the desert we get it, for some it’s nice to end the day with a refreshing cocktail, beer or glass of wine at your Joshua Tree short term rental. What’s even better is when you are enjoying that beverage from the hammocks, hot tubs, pool and/or with the mountain views that are available to you when staying at the WKNDR Joshua Tree getaways (BOOK HERE). In fact, when staying at WKNDR getaways you will always be within reach of some of the best places to grab growlers, bottles, and cans of refreshing beverages to stock the refrigerator in your Joshua Tree short term rental. Here are our top 3 recommendations on where to go.

1. Joshua Tree Brewery

This award-winning brewery operated by two hi desert locals born and raised in the area offers a good selection of crafts that range from the lighter to heavier side. Our personal favorite? The Tailwind IPA. Why? It’s juicy without the bitterness expected with your typical NEIPA. This is a great stop on either Friday or Saturday (the two days they are open) to grab a growler to go to bring back to your Joshua Tree National Park short-term rental.

2. Joshua Tree Distillery

Joshua Tree Distillery is another option that is a perfect stop to pick up some premium award-winning spirits, including their signature Black Hole Vodka, Giant Rock Gin or Lost Horse Whiskey, to have on hand at your Joshua Tree short-term rental. And if you have time and are interested in learning more about their distilling process the Distillery offers the general public daily free tours from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The tours give guest the opportunity to deepen their appreciation and understanding for how Joshua Tree Distillery crafts their spirits. Through the tours guests can expect to learn more about how to ferment alcohol from carbohydrates, distilling alcohol and distillery’s bottling and finishing processes. Once completing the tour or for guests who choose not to do the tour make sure to check out the Distillery’s menu of spirit tastings, craft cocktails and non-alcoholic options, like their Bubble Tree Sparkling Water.

3. Joshua Tree Bottle Shop

Our final recommendation for places to stop at to help stock the refrigerator in your short-term rental is the Johsua Tree Bottle Shop. They offer a wide variety of local beer, wine, spirits, sake, cider and meads, as well as non-alcoholic options that are perfect for sipping from the WKNDR hot tubs, hammocks, pool or patio while taking in mesmerizing sunsets or star-filled skies. Given the breadth and depth of their selection, the Shop could feel a bit overwhelming, however the team onsite is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and will help you find exactly what you are looking for.
