Where To Go For Live Music When Visiting Joshua Tree National Park

The hi desert is an enclave for artists including musicians. Many find the desert to be an inspirational environment when creating music. Just ask U2. Given the magnetic pull Joshua Tree has for musicians there are many opportunities to enjoy live performers. The following are the top 3 places to check out for live music when visiting Joshua Tree National Park.

1. Pappy and Harriet’s

Although a bit of a drive from a WKNDR getaway (BOOK NOW) being in Pioneertown,Pappy and Harriet’s is the place to go for live music. Many a legendary musician has performed here, from Paul McCartney to Lizzo to Lorde to Lucinda Williams to Peaches and many more, which is why it is first on our list. 2. Kitchen In The Desert

Somehow Kitchen In The Desert finds its way into many if our guides because it is an all-around standout when it comes to places to go in the hi-desert. In addition to the amazing cuisine, Kitchen In The Desert usually always have live musicians performing on the patio. It’s the perfect outdoor space to park yourself during the golden hour with a beverage in hand to take in the sunset while listening to some live music. This is not just a saloon, it’s a hi desert institution and another option when looking for live music. Joshua Tree Saloon features an array of talented performers from the local surrounding areas and beyond usually every Wednesday and Sunday.
