Top 3 Places To Practice Yoga & Meditation In Joshua Tree

Joshua Tree National Park is not only a top destination for adventurers, but it also provides the perfect backdrop for those seeking to reset, reconnect and relax through the practice of yoga and meditation. There is something truly magical about practicing during your visit to Joshua Tree National Park. We think it has something to do with the multiple energy vortices throughout the area and the magical powers that be that exist in the high desert. Here are our top 3 places to practice yoga and meditation while visiting Joshua Tree National Park.

1. WKNDR Starside At Joshua Tree National Park

There is no better backdrop to one’s yoga practice than the desert known for fostering spiritual awakenings. So no matter if you are new to the mat or have many years in, you have plenty of opportunities to find your namaste while at the WKNDR Starside at Joshua Tree National Park. While you can always practice indoors, we recommend taking your practice outside during sunrise or sunset with the mountain in our backyard serving as your backdrop. And for those looking for more of a guided practice we would be happy to coordinate that for you during your stay. Also, at the WKNDR Starside, we provide guests with yoga mats, blankets, and our visitors can also opt to practice beneath our meditation pyramid or during a walk through our meditation labyrinth.

2. Untamed Yoga

Located in the center of Joshua Tree, Untamed Yoga offers indoor, outdoor, virtual and private 1:1 sessions. We love Untamed Yoga not only for their classes but also because of its commitment to community outside of its Studio. Untamed Yoga offers a portion of the money made from all of its classes to organizations and charities shared in mission of BLM, education equity, LGBTQIA+, women’s rights, among others. The founder Emily has been practicing for more than 17 years and leads the studio’s virtual classes and private sessions.
