Our Top 3 Recommendations For A Romantic Dinner When Visiting Joshua Tree National Park
The hi desert provides the perfect backdrop and many activities for a romantic weekend away. Couples can explore Joshua Tree National Park, reset their relationship through yoga and meditation practices and simply reconnect with each other a romantic dinner for two. Around Joshua Tree National Park there are a few restaurants that provide the perfect ambience, service and selection for a night out with your partner, or you can always consider hiring a private chef to prepare dinner at your Joshua Tree short-term rental. Here are our top three recommendations for a romantic dinner for two when visiting Joshua Tree National Park.
1. No Worries - Private Chefs
For those looking for the most intimate culinary experience possible nothing beats a personal chef preparing a private meal for you and your partner at your short-term rental, like a WKNDR getaway (BOOK NOW) where your backdrop will be the sun setting over the mountains or a star-filled sky.
No Worries - Private Chefs was founded in 2016 by Dana and Kenyata a husband and wife team who pride themselves on creating menus that highlight locally sourced, fresh and sustainable ingredients. They also provide 5-star service from start to finish. Just take a peek at their YELP reviews, with the most recent being, “… Everything was delicious - our group particularly loved the sushi and key lime pie from dinner and the tortilla and hash browns from brunch. We had vegetarians, vegans and kids in our party and the options they created for them were thoughtful and delicious! And they left the kitchen cleaner than when we arrived at the house.”

2. Kitchen In The Desert
If you and your partner enjoy Carribean flavors we highly recommend Kitchen In The Desert that has been open since 2105 under the culinary leadership of Everton Gordon. What makes this restaurant perfect for a date night are the creative flavor profiles and the beautiful ambience. And we highly recommend reserving a spot on the restaurant’s patio at sunset which will give your dinner for two added romance as the restaurant often features live music. Also adding to its charm is its location. The eatery is based in Tintown, which was once the first hotel in 29 Palms, and has since been artist studios and is currently undergoing renovation.

3. La Copine
La Copine is French for girlfriend. The restaurant’s name alone should signal it’s the place to bring your partner. And while La Copine is not open for dinner, it’s great for a day date and offers a sophisticated menu featuring lighter fare, from its shrimp roll to its chestnut mushroom soup, as well as a relaxed environment in this quaint roadside diner. The restaurant was found as a result of two people’s love for each other and the high desert and we strongly recommend this spot for a hi desert day date.
